The posted compensation range of $44.18 - $65.71 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform patient care services in our outpatient clinics.

Success in this role means you:


- Are responsible for the performance of mammographic imaging procedures
- Maintain a clean organized and safe environment and perform patient care services that support the physician / providers practice under the supervision of the radiologists other licensed staff and Management
- You will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions
- Apply a thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
- Assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist to your patient or authorized person
- Collect patient data documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist’s review

- Consistently reviews requests for special instructions from physicians on orders and consults with radiologist as needed.

- Completely explains examination procedure or instruction to the patient in a clear, pleasant, and professional manner.

- Demonstrates full competence in the use of all equipment and materials used to capture diagnostic images and perform mammography properly.

- Proficient in producing clear images.

- Consistently uses proper positioning of area that needs imaging.

- Demonstrates knowledge & skill assisting radiologist with interventional procedures properly with minimal or no supervision.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

- High School diploma or equivalent.

- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiolologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.

- Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT & Mammography.

- Excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills are essential.

- Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment and radiation safety is required.

- Maintain current California license in CRT.

- Maintain current CPR.

- Maintain current California license in Mammography.

Preferred Qualifications:

- One (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist is preferred.

- Six (6) months experience in an out patient environment is preferred.

- Certification in Mammography through ARRT preferred

- Medical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS is preferred.
