FAQs

The CommonSpirit Health Administrative Fellowship is a national 18 month system-wide fellowship offered in our various departments and operational divisions. Our fellowship program operates in a cohort model, meaning that our fellows have the opportunity to develop meaningful connections and relationships with fellows and leaders from across the organization and across tracks. Each fellow will have the opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity, as identified by their fellowship track.

With an 18 month program each fellow will have ample time to explore the largest not-for-profit health system and become immersed in a variety of areas ranging from: hospital, ambulatory, and leadership functions including national discussions. This program also allows fellows to take on large, complex projects that might not be feasible with a shorter fellowship.

Goals:

  • Attract, grow and retain the most qualified future leaders for post-fellowship transition within CommonSpirit Health
  • Build a solid foundation for future leaders through hands-on learning experiences, exposure to clinical and non-clinical aspects and mentoring from experienced health care leaders
  • Promote leadership diversity in perspectives, experiences, and thought to reflect the communities we serve
