The posted compensation range of $32.38 - $48.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

CT Technologist  

Location: Huntsville, Texas

As a CT Technologist you will perform technical diagnostic CT imaging procedures. Operating diagnostic equipment and performs a variety of technical diagnostic imaging procedures related to CT. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performing complete diagnostic imaging tests inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings, with the direction of the imaging supervisor/manager. Assists patients with basic patient care needs.

Every day you will review and verify physician’s orders, perform CT exams, communicate and involve patient of the diagnostic test and  start Patient IVs.

  • Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed

Qualifications
  • HS diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) (CT) obtained by nine months upon hire; must maintain current Certified by Texas Department of Health as Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist – MRT; must maintain current CPR/BLS certification;  CT license may be obtained within nine months of moving into the role.  
  • Preferred ‐ One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting

The Emergency Room at St. Luke’s Health – Huntsville, a department of St. Luke’s Health – The Woodlands Hospital, brings high-quality emergency care from the Texas Medical Center to Huntsville, Livingston and Walker County. Staffed by board-certified physicians, emergency-trained nurses, and licensed radiology and lab techs, our ER provides expert care close to home. We treat patients of all ages for everything from minor injuries to serious illnesses, without the long wait times of a traditional hospital emergency department.

Unless directed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement, applications for this position will be considered on a rolling basis. CommonSpirit Health cannot anticipate the date by which a successful candidate may be identified.
