The posted compensation range of $107.83 - $160.40 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position is remote

*While the position is remote, the incumbent must reside in the Seattle/Tacoma Market for travel.

As our Region Director, Pharmacy Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing region-level strategies that align with the system's vision and business plans, focusing on pharmacy compliance, revenue cycle, data management, technology, financial planning, and operational improvement.

Every day, you will manage, improve, and develop pharmacy business and operational functions to enhance compliance, revenue cycle, data integrity, and medication-related technology implementation, collaborating closely with the Region Director, Clinical Pharmacy Services. You will lead, plan, direct, and coordinate business operations, fostering effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You hold direct responsibility for leading the retail pharmacy service line (including specialty, retail, and mail order), overseeing its strategic vision, growth, profitability, and performance optimization in alignment with system strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will possess extensive experience in pharmacy operations leadership, demonstrating a proven track record in compliance, revenue cycle, data integrity, and technology implementation. You will exhibit exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills, capable of driving efficiency, financial performance, and service excellence.

  • Develops, implements, and oversees the Region strategy and tactical processes for Region-wide pharmacy operations and retail services
  • Evaluates advanced analytics support for their Region and guide pharmacy reporting capabilities to support performance improvement and improve pharmacy business operations through enhanced reporting
  • Identifies and implements in their Region the year-over-year business operations improvement within pharmacy to reduce expenses, increase revenue, and optimize labor
  • Creates and maintains budget accountability for pharmacy operations services operations in the Region including systems to support effective business practices; assists other pharmacy business units with budgeting as needed
  • Develops and implements Region pharmacy management strategies and processes to ensure strong business and operational process management for pharmacy budgets; prepares business cases for program improvements, enhancements, and new services
  • Sets and implements in the Region policies, guidance, and processes, in conjunction with other pharmacy and organizational leaders, that ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, pharmacy business practices, and accreditation practices

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Of Science in Pharmacy
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy with an active license
  • 10 years of Pharmacy or Health-Systems experience
  • 7 years of leadership experience with a documented record of success in management
  • MBA, MHA, MPH or other related graduate degree or pharmacy residency in hospital pharmacy administration is preferred
