The posted compensation range of $34.00 - $50.58 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary / Purpose

The Graphic Designer, Brand Team is a creative and detail-oriented professional responsible for supporting the development and execution of high-quality visual content that enhances CommonSpirit Health’s brand identity. This role works collaboratively with the brand and creative teams to design assets that reflect the organization’s values, ensure brand consistency, and inspire both internal and external audiences.

In this position, you will create designs for a wide range of projects, including digital, print, and experiential touchpoints. Your expertise in visual storytelling and design principles will play a critical role in reinforcing our brand’s message and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Success in this role requires a balance of creative vision, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Additionally, this individual will be instrumental in advancing brand transition efforts across CommonSpirit Health’s multi-state footprint. You will have the opportunity to oversee local efforts and travel as needed to ensure successful execution. This is a significant chance to contribute to one of the largest brand transitions in healthcare, requiring strong project management and creative skills to drive impactful results.


Essential Key Job Responsibilities

Design and Development:

  • Create high-quality designs for various mediums, including digital assets (web banners, social media graphics, email templates), print materials (signage, brochures, posters), and experiential branding (event visuals, environmental graphics, leadership presentations).
  • Develop and refine graphic assets that align with CommonSpirit Health’s brand guidelines.

Brand Stewardship:

  • Act as a guardian of CommonSpirit Health’s visual identity, ensuring all creative outputs align with established brand guidelines.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of a centralized library of design templates and assets.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with marketing, communications, and leadership teams to understand project objectives and deliver compelling design solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed to produce high-quality materials.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality execution.
  • Maintain an organized workflow by tracking project milestones and communicating progress with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within an in-house creative team or agency environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro is a plus.
