The posted compensation range of $15.00 - $20.12 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Our hospital is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team! Under the guidance of our Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll be instrumental in maintaining a sanitary, orderly, and attractive facility, embodying our commitment to health and healing.

In this essential role, you'll:

  • Bring areas to a shine: Expertly clean patient rooms, common areas, and specialized equipment.
  • Be a crucial link: Manage linen and waste disposal responsibly, including in isolation areas.
  • Master the tools: Operate cleaning machinery and prepare solutions safely and effectively.
  • Champion safety: Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, reporting any needed repairs promptly.
  • Go the extra mile: Be ready to assist with additional tasks and respond to emergencies as needed.

Job Requirements

Education: Literacy - ability to understand and complete written and verbal instructions.

Interpersonal Skills: Relates well with staff, patients and visitors.  Maintains confidentiality.

Where You'll Work

​​CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison includes the services of a 22-bed critical access hospital, a 26-bed skilled nursing facility, an attached rural health clinic, and an Emergency Department that is available 24 hours a day. We offer many outpatient services, including physical therapy, radiology services, laboratory services, cardiac rehabilitation, and IV treatments. Since opening in 1952, CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison has been dedicated to serving the residents of Garrison and the surrounding rural communities. The hospital is equipped with 4 emergency rooms, on-site lab, radiology, CT and physical therapy services. Our patients have access to 24/7 emergency care, swing-bed program, and acute care services.
