The posted compensation range of $19.87 - $28.06 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

CHI LakeWood Health is excited to hire a CNA to work as a Health Unit Coordinator Telemetry. No telemetry experience? No worries! We will provide telemetry training! This position will be an essential role to assist our Registered Nurses by answering calls, ER registration, bathing, feeding, and monitoring telemetry monitors.

Additional responsibilities include....

  • Providing the nursing department with a variety of duties including but not limited  to: compiling, transcribing, preparing, and maintaining records in the nursing  department; time and attendance edit log management; charge entry, etc.
  • Providing information and communication services to visitors and staff. Assists  nursing staff in maintaining efficient and effective operations on the unit.  Including monitoring the unit department checklists for completion for the  Emergency Department, Acute Care and Operating Room, chart audits and  charge reconciliation, monitoring for outdates throughout the departments,  customer service liaison and active participant in the care environment.
  • Providing urgent or emergent patient care interventions as needed on the patient  care unit and monitoring the telemetry monitor during the shift.
  • Assists in registering patients during the evening hours.
Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minnesota CNA 
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality. The HUC has access to a great deal of private patient  information. A breach of confidentiality is grave.
  • Must be willing to train in Telemetry. Cardiology/Telemetry training will be provided.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BLS is preferred and must be acquired and maintained.
  • Two to three years of recent acute care work experience is strongly preferred.
