The posted compensation range of $41.14 - $61.20 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Massage Therapist, you will provide massage therapy to participants of Community Health programs, ensuring comprehensive service and contributing to the mission and core values of our organization.

Every day you will perform therapeutic massage and other duties necessary to complete sessions with participants. Your responsibilities include delivering high-quality care that aligns with our organizational mission and demonstrates our core values.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate expert massage therapy skills, a deep understanding of holistic wellness, and a strong commitment to supporting the health and well-being of community health program participants.

  • Displays advanced level of skill/competence in the provision of therapeutic massage techniques, including but not limited to effleurage, petrissage or Swedish technique, deep tissue/sports massage, stretching techniques and massage techniques for relaxation.
  • Willingly coaches and acts as a resource for the physical rehabilitation staff in the area of specialization (massage).
  • Provides prompt, accurate documentation of client care activities which include, but is not limited to, initial assessment and daily notes, utilizing a SOAP format. 
  • Assists with program planning and development in massage area, including marketing and launch of new techniques and services.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of a massage therapy educational program
  • Two years of massage therapy experience
  • Massage Therapist: AZ,
  • American Heart Association BLS -


Preferred

  • Previous massage therapy experience in a medical setting
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
