The posted compensation range of $27.97 - $40.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Physician Enterprise (PE) Market Liaison is a highly visible, market-facing role critical to the strategic growth
and operational excellence of our South Region. As an integral extension of a robust centralized recruitment
team (comprising Recruiters, Visit/Travel Coordinators, and Onboarding Specialists),this position provides
dedicated, high-touch, on-site support for physician recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts for assigned
pilot markets.
The Liaison's primary focus is on enhancing the candidate experience, streamlining local logistical coordination,
accelerating time-to-fill for critical physician vacancies, and fostering long-term relationships through proactive
engagement initiatives. This role directly mitigates the significant financial impact of physician vacancies and
reduces the unassigned opportunity cost currently borne by senior clinical and operational leadership.
Manage reporting responsibilities on a weekly and monthly basis, collaborating with other departments to obtain
necessary information and produce accurate reports for the department.
Use analytical skills to ensure quality and accuracy of all reports.

I. Candidate Experience
● Visit Logistics & Coordination:
○ In collaboration with the centralized Recruitment Coordination team, manage and execute complex on-site
logistics for physician candidate visits, ensuring meticulous planning and seamless execution of schedules,
facility access, and local experiences.
○ Serve as the primary on-site host and dedicated point of contact for physician candidates during all stages of
their market visits, including interviews, facility tours, and community introductions.
○ Ensure a consistent, high-touch, and personalized candidate experience, addressing questions, anticipating
needs, and proactively resolving local issues during visits.
● Market Ambassadorship & Liaison:
○ Act as a consistent brand ambassador, showcasing the unique advantages of our communities and clinical
practices within the South Region.
○ Serve as a vital liaison between provider recruitment and the local market, relaying local needs, insights, and
feedback to the central recruitment team to optimize recruitment strategies.
○ Facilitate efficient post-visit communication and localized feedback loops between candidates,the central
recruitment team, and clinical leadership.
● Talent Pipeline Development:
○ In collaboration with the GME/Post-Graduate Liaison team and the South Recruitment team, partner with local
residency and fellowship programs to cultivate relationships, support educational initiatives, and identify
emerging talent pipelines.
○ Research, recommend, and build a calendar for annual attendance at provider career fairs and conferences.
○ Exhibit at National, State, and Local provider job fairs and conferences, as appropriate.
○ Participate in regional and/or national physician recruitment associations.
II. Onboarding & Integration
● Credentialing & Privileging Facilitation:
○ Act as a central liaison between new hires, credentialing, privileging departments,the recruitment team, and
other relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth, timely transition.
○ Track and communicate credentialing and privileging progress to new hires and relevant internal stakeholders.
○ Assist new hires with initial paperwork and provide guidance on internal systems and processes related to
credentialing.
● Day-One Readiness & Orientation:
○ Coordinate and schedule orientation sessions, both individual and group, ensuring all required components are
covered for a comprehensive introduction.
○ Shepherd the onboarding process to ensure that necessary equipment (laptops, phones), system accesses,
and office spaces are prepared and ready on day one for new hires.
○ Organize and coordinate "meet and greet" sessions with key leaders and team members to foster early
connections.
● Seamless Transition & Support:
○ Liaise with the central onboarding team and local leadership to support the seamless transition and integration
of new physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) into the organization and community.
○ Assist with the coordination and execution of local components of new provider orientation, ensuring a
welcoming and supportive start.
○ Provide resources and information regarding housing, schools, and community amenities to new hires and their
families.
○ Support the creation and distribution of welcome kits and onboarding materials.
○ Conduct initial check-ins with new providers to address immediate needs and concerns, and offer ongoing
support.
● Marketing & Community Collaboration:
○ Coordinate with our sales and marketing teams to ensure appropriate ride-alongs and tailored marketing plans
are in place for new providers, aiding in their practice development.
III. Physician & Provider Engagement & Retention
● Well-being & Recognition:
○ Assist in coordinating physician and APP well-being initiatives and recognition programs.
○ Help organize market-specific provider engagement events and activities, working with the market Wellness
Ambassador/Wellbeing Medical Director.
● Feedback & Communication:
○ Support communication efforts to keep providers informed about organizational news, initiatives, and
resources.
○ Gather feedback from providers regarding their experience and identify areas for improvement.
○ Conduct retention interviews with all new physicians and APPs after 90 days, escalating concerns appropriately
with business partners.
○ Conduct retention interviews with all physicians and APPs on an ad hoc basis as needed.
IV. Operations & Reporting
● Market Intelligence:
○ Develop a deep understanding of the local healthcare market, community resources, and cultural nuances
○ Participate in relevant national and community events or networking opportunities to represent the
organization and build local partnerships.
● Reporting & Analytics:
○ Manage reporting responsibilities on a weekly and monthly basis, collaborating with other departments to
obtain necessary information and produce accurate reports for the department.
○ Use analytical skills to ensure quality and accuracy of all reports.
● Administrative Support:
○ Provide general administrative support including filing, copying, phone coverage, and report generation as
requested.
○ Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job.


Job Requirements

Education 

High School Graduate or equivalent required

Bachelors Preferred

Experience

4-6 years experience in recruitment coordination, executive
support, public relations, hospitality, community relations, or a
healthcare operations role with significant external stakeholder
engagement preferred. 

Demonstrated experience in managing complex logistical
arrangements and coordinating high stakes meetings or
events, particularly within the health care sector.
