The posted compensation range of $40.27 - $40.27/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a vital member of our facilities team, you will ensure the optimal functioning and safety of our building's critical systems and infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a reliable and comfortable environment.

Mechanical & Electrical Systems Management:

  • Preventative Maintenance & Repair: Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical and electrical equipment, including boilers, emergency generators, HVAC systems, and related components, ensuring efficient, high-quality completion.
  • System Testing & Compliance: Conduct periodic tests on equipment, meticulously adhering to all relevant codes and requirements.
  • Troubleshooting & Timely Repairs: Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operational readiness.
  • Critical Equipment Oversight: Execute routine repairs and preventative maintenance to guarantee the uninterrupted operation of all critical equipment.
  • Tool & Workspace Management: Maintain all tools and equipment in safe operating condition and ensure equipment rooms are consistently organized and clean.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with administration and other trades to complete projects and work orders.

Building Maintenance & Support:

  • General Maintenance: Perform diverse building maintenance tasks, including carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
  • Grounds Assistance: Assist with outdoor areas and grounds maintenance as needed.
  • Installations & Locksmithing: Assemble and install furniture; perform locksmith tasks as required.

Documentation & Resource Management:

  • Accurate Record Keeping: Complete and maintain precise records, logs, and paperwork for all assigned equipment, repairs, orders, and materials used. File all documentation promptly.
  • Equipment Commissioning: Test and evaluate equipment prior to service, log results, tag devices for tracking, and ensure proper installation/delivery.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Order and receive necessary parts and materials, maintaining correct stock levels to support ongoing maintenance and repairs.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other assigned tasks as required.

Job Requirements

Education/Work Experience Requirements
Requires three years of recent, progressively responsible maintenance-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.

Licensure/Certification
Current electrical, plumbing, or boiler licensure is preferred.
If assigned to Property Maintenance; requires current driver’s license valid in the state of Washington.
