The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $24.26 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Server, you will play a crucial role in providing courteous and efficient meal service to our patrons.

Every day, you will perform daily job tasks with a focus on delivering excellent meal service, directly enhancing the dining experience for our customers. You are expected to know and support the mission and values of the establishment, applying its philosophy consistently while performing all daily duties. Your attentive and respectful service will contribute significantly to the patrons' comfort and satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a friendly and service-oriented demeanor, with previous experience in food service or customer care. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting courteously and efficiently with customers and colleagues. A genuine commitment to customer satisfaction and embodying the organization's mission and values will be essential in providing a positive and supportive dining environment.

  • Takes orders, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food preparation.
  • Provides starter (soup/salad), entree and dessert service to residents.
  • Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
  • Ladles soup, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee and performs other services as determined by establishment's size and practice.
  • Obtains linens, silver, glassware and china to set tables and arranges settings on tables.
  • Prepares beverages, relays orders to kitchen and expedites food orders.
