The posted compensation range of $18.96 - $26.78 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Location: CUMC-Bergan Campus off of 77th & Mercy

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • You'll be the right hand to our fantastic Gastroenterologists and Physician Assistants, assisting with examinations, procedures, and everything in between to ensure smooth patient flow. This includes prepping patients, ensuring they're comfortable, and accurately documenting.
  • From their first step in the door to their follow-up call, you'll be a friendly face and a reassuring voice. You'll take vital signs, obtain detailed medical histories, and help patients feel at ease during what can sometimes be a sensitive time.
  • Unexpected situations? No problem! You're resourceful, quick-thinking, and always ready to find a solution with a positive attitude.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
