The posted compensation range of $34.14 - $53.03 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position has administrative responsibility for designated practices yet collaborates within an integrated healthcare delivery system. Customers include, but are not limited to regional leadership, physicians, providers, practice management, and staff. External customers include patients, and their caretakers, regulatory bodies, vendors, and the community.  This Practice Manager supports 12+ providers and supervises the staff associates.


The scope of this role includes practice management of an outpatient ambulatory site. Management includes multiple specialties, clinics and providers. The clinic operations will report directly to this role, and this role will have direct supervisory and managerial functions of the clinic’s practice. This role will report to the Director of Regional Operations.

Additional Practice Manger responsibilities include:

  • Develops plans to identify and reach short and long-term goals and assure development and compliance with operating and capital budgets and achievements of financial performance.
  • Responsible for administration of business, financial and practice functions of the practice.
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of physician and community relations to further our services within the community.
  • Build collaborative relationships with physicians and other members of the management team to fulfill his/her accountabilities.
  • Serves as the liaison with each service line and joint venture within the clinic.
  • build strong relationships with physicians and associates to achieve high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • 3 years of experience in a healthcare related field with at least two years management experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and have the skills and to lead a small business
  • Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics
  • HS/GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field required

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., occasional night or weekend for special events

Physical Requirements-Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)

St. Elizabeth Hospital, located in Fort Morgan, Colorado, is a Level 3 Trauma Center and an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center serving northeastern Colorado. Providing care through-out the region, St. Elizabeth Hospital provides cardiology, maternal, emergency, surgical, pediatrics, and acute care inpatient services in addition to the multitude of subspecialists in our specialty clinic. At 50 beds, St. Elizabeth is the region's referral center serving a wide span of northeastern Colorado. Since 1952, St. Elizabeth has been serving the community in Morgan County which is one of the most diverse counties in Colorado speaking more than 28 languages.
