The posted compensation range of $18.96 - $26.78 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

**Up to $5000 Sign On Bonus Offered**

Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment

Location: W Broadway Clinic - Council Bluffs, IA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-430p

Are you a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant who believes that a little laughter and a lot of compassion are the best medicine? Our tight-knit family medicine clinic is looking for a vibrant, dedicated, and professional CMA/MA (NOT Med Aide or CNA) to join our team! As our Certified Medical Assistant/Medical Assistant, you'll be the heart of the patient experience, seamlessly blending clinical expertise with top-tier administrative support.
**Please note CHI Health requires that ALL Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistants MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
