The posted compensation range of $18.37 - $23.95 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an EVS Tech Lead, you'll play a vital role in upholding these standards, ensuring comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surroundings for everyone who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do as an EVS Tech Lead:

In this integral role, you'll often work independently and act as the lead custodian, taking ownership of the sanitary conditions that prevent the spread of viruses, infections, and odors throughout our facility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and cleaning all department floor areas according to established high standards.
  • Keeping all public area carpets and floors spotless and well-maintained.
  • Efficiently removing all trash, biohazards, and soiled linen to designated areas for pickup.
  • Contributing to the upkeep of our grounds, including seasonal tasks like mowing and snow removal.
  • Proactively restocking any and all supplies within department areas to ensure smooth operations.
  • Identifying and accurately reporting work orders to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.

Please note: This role may involve exposure to visible blood and/or bodily fluid contamination or reasonably anticipated blood and/or bodily fluid contamination. Comprehensive training and appropriate safety protocols will be provided.


Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to meet ADA requirements.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • A caring and compassionate demeanor, aligned with our mission to serve.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare custodial experience is a plus! If you've worked in a healthcare setting before, you know the unique challenges and rewards, and we'd love to hear from you.
