Responsibilities

The Director of the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of multiple departments. The position ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient care and ancillary services while maintaining financial stability, regulatory compliance. This role requires a dynamic and experienced healthcare leader with a proven track record of success in a rural healthcare setting.

  • Oversees the day-to-day operations of designated departments, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient safety, quality of care, patient satisfaction, and financial performance.
  • Identifies and implements process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels and resource allocation across all departments.
  • Participates in developing and implementing the hospital's strategic plan in alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Leads the development and implementation of new programs and services to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, Required upon hire.
  • 4-6 years Progressive leadership experience in a hospital setting, Required upon hire.
