Job Summary:

As an Interventional Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing special interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations under the direction of a licensed physician. You will utilize radiologic imaging to guide procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing patient history and clinical data
  • Preparing patients for testing
  • Operating C-arms, fluoroscopy, and tomography equipment
  • Participating in interventional radiology and cardiovascular procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Ensuring a safe and sterile environment
  • Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, Interventional Radiology, or Special Procedures Technologist (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of the concepts, standards, procedures, and equipment relating to radiological examination and related procedures.
  • Ability to document work activities in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Ability to use automated systems and x-ray equipment at an acceptable level of proficiency.
  • Knowledge of current technical aspects of Special Procedures patient care including arteriogram.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
  • Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level.

Licensure/Certification:

  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) is required.
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification required.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
