  • The Cristo Rey Network is the only network of high schools in the country that integrates four years of rigorous college preparatory academics with four years of professional work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program. Comprised of 37 Catholic, career-focused, college preparatory schools, the Cristo Rey Network delivers a powerful and innovative approach to education that equips students from families of limited economic means with the knowledge, character, and skills to achieve their aspirations. CommonSpirit Health hosts Work Study students across our corporate offices and local hospitals.

  • HCC empowers undergraduate students and recent graduates to choose and successfully pursue health careers that best suit their talents and goals. They accomplish this by providing paid real-world experience, mentoring, and networking. CommonSpirit Health hosts students through HCC’s Summer Internship Program.

  • Futuro Health improves the health and wealth of communities by growing the largest network of credentialed allied healthcare workers in the nation. CommonSpirit Health partners with Futuro Health to hire trained Medical Assistants and Information Technology specialists in California.

Our Fellowship and Internship Opportunities

  • CommonSpirit Health Administrative Fellowship:
    A national, 18-month, system-wide leadership and professional development
    program that offers a solid foundation for future leaders through hands-on learning experiences, exposure to clinical and non-clinical aspects and mentoring from influential health care innovators.
  • Human Resources:
    The CommonSpirit Health Human Resources Summer Internship is a 12-week program for
    current graduate students pursuing their degrees in human resources. Interns will spend the summer working on meaningful projects to develop a compressive understanding of the field of human resources in a healthcare setting. Interns will have the opportunity to work with senior Human Resources leaders across our national footprint on meaningful projects. Assignments are carefully selected based on business need while taking personal preference into account and will incorporate technical knowledge, analytical strength, and creative problem-solving. Internship opportunities will be posted in the fall.
  • Information Technology and Digital:
    The CommonSpirt Health Information Technology and Digital (ITD) Summer
    Internship is a twelve-week program for undergraduate students majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Biomedical, Health Informatics. Interns will have the opportunity to develop and improve skills in digital, technology, analytics, product development, operations, and teamwork. Interns will observe and participate in software product development. Furthermore, interns will be able to network with professional role models and potential mentors who can provide guidance, feedback, and support in the technical career path. Internship opportunities will be posted in the spring.
