What You'll Do as Our Night Shift Sonographer:

As a key member of our night team, you will:

Perform a comprehensive range of high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various body parts and patient conditions, often in critical or urgent scenarios.
Operate advanced ultrasound equipment proficiently, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate interpretation.
Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
Collaborate effectively with emergency physicians, radiologists, and other clinical staff to provide timely and precise diagnostic information.
Maintain meticulous and accurate patient records, documenting findings and adhering to all departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
Respond calmly and efficiently to unexpected situations and emergent studies.
Assume responsibility for the safe operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment during your shift.

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience Requirements

Associates degree from an accredited training program in General diagnostic sonography, and recent completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound (with at least six months in General ultrasound) or equivalent recent directly-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.

Licensure/Certification

Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); or
Certification in Sonography by the American Association of Radiology Technologists (ARRT)..
Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.
