Responsibilities

***This position is remote, but will be expected to work PST business hours.

Position Summary:


The IDX Business Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting the integration of healthcare business systems, revenue cycle operations, managed care operations and ambulatory scheduling and patient access. This role combines the technical expertise in system configuration, database management, and business analysis with the operational knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management processes. The IDX Business Systems Analyst will work across departments to ensure the seamless integration of healthcare technology solutions and drive efficiency in revenue capture, management, and collections. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to implement solutions that improve throughput, reduce errors, and enhance financial performance.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


- Minimum 1 to 3 years of proven experience in healthcare-related fields, with emphasis on system integration, database management, or revenue cycle operations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience with revenue cycle applications such as Cerner, IDX or Ingenious Med.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Familiarity with healthcare financial operations, including scheduling, claims, billing, and Medicare reimbursement preferred.
- Experience with project management, particularly in charge capture or revenue cycle projects preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic practice management systems and managed care/physician billing preferred.
- Experience working in large multi-specialty physician or ambulatory settings preferred.
