About the Role

As a Rehab Tech, you'll work under the supervision of licensed therapists to assist with patient care and ensure therapy sessions run smoothly. From preparing equipment to helping patients through their treatment routines, your support plays a crucial role in their recovery. You'll also assist with clerical tasks, keep therapy areas clean and safe, and bring energy and encouragement to our patients every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist therapists in providing treatment to patients, including gait training, exercise therapy, and activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Transport and transfer patients to and from therapy sessions in a safe and timely manner

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment, following all cleaning protocols

  • Perform light clerical duties such as documenting treatment times and handling patient records

  • Support recreational and therapeutic activities to motivate and engage patients

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with patients, families, and staff

  • Follow all safety procedures and infection control standards, including proper body mechanics and universal precautions

  • Attend required training sessions and maintain current CPR certification

Qualifications
  • A compassionate, patient-focused individual with a strong work ethic

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

  • Ability to follow direction and work under the supervision of licensed therapists

  • Responsible, reliable, and flexible in supporting various daily tasks

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus, but not required
