The posted compensation range of $17.89 - $24.60 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities

CHI Health would love to add a Certified Medical Assistant / Medical Assistant to our Cardiology Clinic located at our CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays & NO call! 

We are a cardiology clinic dedicated to providing life-changing, high-quality care to patients with heart and vascular conditions. We believe in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both our patients and our staff.

The Certified Medical Assistant performs a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care and ensuring the clinic's smooth daily operations. Under the direct supervision of a cardiologist, this role involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks specific to cardiology. The CMA will act as a bridge between the patients and the medical team, using a warm demeanor, strong communication skills, and clinical proficiency.

***CHI Health does require our Certified Medical Assistants to be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)
  • Current/valid nationally recognized certification, registration or recognition for medical assistants (AAMA/CMA, RMA, NCMA)
  • Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
