The posted compensation range of $24.00 - $27.75 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
The FLOOR TECH maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks, which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment. Duties include:
  • Cleans assigned areas according to established standards and 12-step cleaning process.
  • Scrubs, strips, waxes and buffs floors utilizing automatic and multi-speed floor machines and other specialized equipment.
  • Maintains and cleans assigned equipment.
  • Arranges and/or transports furniture, equipment and supplies.
  • Documents and reports items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction.
  • Stocks supply cart in assigned areas.
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Job Requirements
  • Must have minimum one-year floor care experience or more in Healthcare or Nursing Home. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Fire Safety card required.
