The posted compensation range of $21.85 - $30.87 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

As our HR Coordinator, you will be a key player in supporting HR operations for:

  • Saint Joseph Hospital (Lexington, KY): Providing comprehensive HR coordination and support to our Lexington-based team.
  • Flaget Memorial Hospital (Bardstown, KY): Traveling 1-2 days per week to Bardstown to provide on-site HR support and ensure seamless operations for our team members.

Beyond these two facilities, you will also play an integral role in:

  • Kentucky Market HR Initiatives: Assisting with broader HR projects and initiatives across our Kentucky market, gaining exposure to a wider range of HR functions and strategies.
  • CommonSpirit Ministry Support: Contributing to HR work that impacts our larger CommonSpirit Health Ministry, connecting you to a national healthcare system and its mission.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • HR Operations Support: Assist with various HR administrative tasks, including onboarding new hires, processing employee changes, maintaining accurate HR records, and managing HR systems.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Assist with HR compliance requirements and generate various HR reports as needed.
  • Event Coordination: Support HR-related events, employee recognition programs, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Data Entry and Analysis: Accurately enter and maintain HR data, assisting with basic data analysis to identify trends.
  • General Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 1-2 days per week to Bardstown, KY. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
    • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail).
    • Experience with HRIS systems is highly preferred.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and a team player.
