Responsibilities
  • Process insurance and patient payments, reconcile accounts, and correct/rebill claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Investigate and resolve claim denials and unpaid claims, as well as handle refunds and recoupments.
  • Communicate with patients to address billing inquiries and collect payments, and interact with insurance companies to obtain necessary information and resolve issues.
  • Accurately input financial data into the billing system and maintain organized records.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/ GED required
  • One (1) year experience posting payments or working denials at a hospital or physician office

Overview

As our Clinic Billing Specialist at CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas, you will help our patients and providers streamline the billing and insurance process so they can focus on patient care and financial well-being.

Every day you will review and process patient accounts, insurance claims, and payment postings. You will be expected to ensure accurate and timely billing, follow up on denied claims, and maintain patient confidentiality.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing and coding, and experience with healthcare insurance.

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic of Arkansas is a cardiology subspecialty clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the heart and vascular systems.
