Join CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs as a Physical Therapist and play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You'll be instrumental in guiding patients through their recovery journey, empowering them to rebuild their physical well-being after illness, injury, or age-related challenges.

Your Impact:

  • Restore Mobility and Function:Utilize a diverse range of treatment techniques to reduce pain, build strength and endurance, increase range of motion, and improve balance, enabling patients to achieve their optimal functional level.
  • Dynamic and Varied Caseload:Experience a fast-paced and stimulating environment where you'll see patients daily for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and direct treatment, working with a diverse range of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and balance disorders.

  • Drive Patient Progress:Conduct thorough initial and re-evaluations to accurately assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Comprehensive Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all treatments and any changes in patient status.

Qualifications

Required Education: Any combination of BS, MS, MPT, DPT.

Required Licensure and Certification: Active physical therapy license in the State of Iowa or physical therapy licensure compact.  American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
