Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Market Development Representative (MDR) to work under the direction of the Executive Director of Market Development (EDMD) and Market Chief Strategy Office (CSO), collaborating with members of the Senior Team, designated Program Directors, and Corporate VP.
As a Market Development Rep, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and sustaining close connections and communication between community physicians and our hospital or market. You will help promote our targeted hospital/market services and service lines growth goals, becoming acutely knowledgeable in specified service lines to increase interest and awareness.
Your role will be critical in building on existing physician relations, establishing relations with new physicians, identifying barriers to physician satisfaction with Virginia Mason Franciscan services, and communicating issues to the EDMD and hospital leadership. You will also manage follow-up with physicians and hospital management about addressing the identified issues.
Qualifications
Education/Work Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications or healthcare and three years’ experience in a customer service position, preferably in physician services, medical sales or a related health care field.
