The posted compensation range of $21.66 - $29.78 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
This position is skilled at obtaining blood specimens and performs pre-analytical processing of patient samples based on established laboratory procedures. In addition, this position communicates pertinent laboratory information to healthcare providers including test ordering instructions, patient test results, or established laboratory practices.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
WA State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Phlebotomy certification is required.
May also require certification of training in Infectious Substance shipping outlined by the Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Also required are excellent customer service and patient relations skills; knowledge of anatomy, venous systems, proper specimen collection techniques and use of blood tubes; knowledge of safety guidelines and basic medical and laboratory terminology.
General computer knowledge is needed.
