Responsibilities
In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center healthcare philosophy the Medical Social Worker/ Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing direct patient care services to patients and families and for collaboration with appropriate healthcare workers and community agencies. Participates in providing care to patients in the Community Based Palliative Care (CBPC) Program upon completion of appropriate orientation. As an employee of Marian Regional Medical Center adherence to the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health will be expected.
Qualifications
Graduate school experience in a healthcare setting with references verifying the ability to function with a high degree of independence and clinical competence plus one year social work experience in a healthcare setting. Home Health experience preferred. Palliative or hospice experience preferred. LCSW LCSW Masters of Social Work. LCSW. Current CPR certification. California drivers license and proof of liability insurance for automobile being used.
