Overview

As our Clinical Social Worker at Marian Regional Medical Center, you will be in the Care Coordination Department and a critical member of the multidisciplinary team. The Clinical Social Worker will help patients and families address psychosocial needs that may be impacting their health and well-being so they have a care plan that fully incorporates those needs. 

Every day you will serve as the psychosocial expert on the multidisciplinary care team. You will be expected to perform bio-psycho-social spiritual assessments, micro and mezzo level clinical care planning, and disposition planning for patients across the continuum of care.

To be successful in this role, you must utilize a clinical skill set to work with patients, families, and the care team to comprehensively address psychosocial needs in a trauma informed manner.

Responsibilities

Assessment, clinical care planning, and disposition planning for patients and families with identified psychosocial needs.

Work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the psychosocial needs of the patients are being incorporated into the treatment plan in a trauma informed manner.

Opportunity to provide clinical supervision to social workers registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker.

THIS JOB OFFERS BOTH AN INCENTIVE AND RELOCATION:  We are offering a 10% Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.


Qualifications

Experience:

2 years of post-MSW experience in a clinical or medical setting.

Education:

Masters degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Licensure: 

Active License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in good standingwith the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
