Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have satisfactorily completed formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school. Must have Fluoroscopy permit within 90 days from date of hire. AMERICAN REGISTRY OF RAD TECHS (CT ARRT) AMER REGISTRY RAD TECH (RG ARRT) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS)

Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years Rad Tech experience 5 years Rad Tech experience preferred. This position requires skills in a minimum of 4 modalities: Diagnostic Radiology Surgery and Fluoroscopy CT certification required. MRI certification preferred. Understanding of sterile techniques vasculature familiarity with medical supplies used for radiologic procedures and ability to follow protocols. For IR role must have understanding of sterile techniques vasculature EKG blood pressure and oximeter; knowledge of disease processes (muscular cardiovascular and organs) knowledge of contrast administration and radiation safety familiarity with medical supplies used for radiologic interventional procedures and equipment such as power injectors monitoring systems and care connect ability to follow protocols excellent communication skills. Must have ARRT CRT-California BLS certification (AHA-approved) Fluoroscopy certificate CT certification. IV certified.
