The posted compensation range of $27.38- $30.79 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Performs a large variety of routine and complex tasks in the laboratory as requested by supervisor. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
Facilitates and documents the flow of all patient specimens into and out of the laboratory
Prepares specimens and deliver to instrument workstations in preparation for processing on automated equipment by the Clinical Lab Scientists
Completes all patient and client billing and updates the computer workload files each day

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- Current California CPT license required.
- CPR certification required.
- Within ninety days of employment obtain the Phlebotomy certfication course approved by the State of California.
- BLS (must be certified through the American Heart Association).
Preferred:
- Any phlebotomist work hospital experiene preferred.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant or Lab Assistant school preferred.
- High School graduate or GED.
