The posted compensation range of $41.46 - $47.79 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. It is the sole provider of obstetrical services along with the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Shasta County. Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The incumbent is a pre-hospital medical caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her partner and all patient populations. The Paramedic will provide safe therapeutic care for these patients by the use of the Emergency Medical system.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Six (6) months of experience as a paramedic with an accredited EMS agency or Fire department required (Hiring manger may consider the applicants field internship as a qualifying experience if the preceptorship was completed at a Dignity Health North State Service Area facility and successfully complete)
- Current California Paramedic license required
- Current ACLS BLS PALS required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)
- Current Drivers License required
- Current Ambulance Driver license and Medical Examiner license required
- Sacramento-Sacramento Valley EMS licensure required
