The posted compensation range of $39.26 - $51.16 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our Ultrasound Diagnostic Tech at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you will help patients receive accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging so they can receive the appropriate care they need.Every day, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, such as abdominal, obstetric, vascular, and breast imaging, and working closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during the procedure.
You will be expected to maintain accurate and detailed records of each procedure, as well as ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Performs exams based on anatomy and patient habitus per exam protocol
- Prepares patients for pending exams by providing instructions related to NPO status, drinking, evaluating labs, etc.
- Always produces high quality imaging, provides legible, accurate and complete documentation to physician
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - ARDMS
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
- Completion of ARDMS or ARRT approved ultrasound training program or hospital-based ultrasound training program.
Preferred:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Cerner experience.
- Associate degree or higher college level degree
