Responsibilities

Job Summary and Purpose

The primary responsibility of this role is to drive and implement effective marketing automation strategies to enhance patient engagement , improve awareness and drive growth for healthcare services in support of the CommonSpirit divisions and the physician enterprise. This role has a range of strategic, technical, creative and analytical responsibilities designed to ensure effective customer engagement, and works in collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop automated engagement strategies aligned with business goals and customer needs.

  • Develop, build and execute scalable marketing automation campaigns to nurture leads, improve patient retention and enhance overall consumer/patient experience for various stages of the consumer journey.
  • Design, execute and optimize customer journeys and marketing campaigns using consumer journey optimization platforms and partner with the greater marketing team to influence integrated marketing automation efforts across channels (website, social media, paid advertising, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create targeted, personalized content and messages for various patient segments.
  • Configure, manage and optimize marketing automation platforms to ensure smooth campaign execution and accurate tracking of performance metrics.
  • Analyze and interpret campaign data to measure effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Implement lead nurturing campaigns and lead scoring initiatives to guide prospects through the sales funnel and increase conversion rates.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within marketing automation systems, ensuring accurate segmentation and reporting.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices and compliance standards/regulations (eg: GDPR, CAN-SPAM, HIPAA, ADA, TCPA) for marketing automation and overall email channel delivery.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders to ensure ethical, legal and transparent marketing practices utilizing marketing automation tools and techniques and is the primary contact for automation tools. Maintains and oversees users and admins.
  • Serve as the  subject matter expert and day-to-day owner of the marketing automation platform; monitor, track, analyze and report on division performance in partnership with division teams.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates for the Marketing Automation Manager role will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field. Combination of education/experience  may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading, developing and delivering marketing programs. 
  • Certification in Adobe Marketo strongly preferred
  • Experience in optimizing creative and content
  • Working knowledge of DMP/CDP/CRM, and Adobe Journey Optimizer
  • Understanding of how to measure MROI
