Pantry Community Coordinator - Community Health / Education

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Outreach Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of fighting hunger in our community.As a Community Outreach Specialist at St. John's Regional Medical Center you will play a vital role in the efficient operation of our food distribution center.

Responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, and organizing food donations and deliveries.
- Sorting and packing food items for distribution to food pantries and community organizations.
- Lifting boxes of food on and off the truck
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring product shelf life.
- Assisting with the distribution of food to clients and ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment.
- Participating in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in health service provider or community-based health organization
- AA degree in health related area preferred, or comparable experience in lieu of degree will be accepted
- Driver License - DRV LIC
- ServSafe Certification required. ( 90 days to obtain from start date)
- Fluent in Spanish/English languages
