Call Center - Hospital Patient Meals
The posted compensation range of $14.78 - $20.33 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy our focus is patient-centered care. Our full range of medical services includes trauma services heart and vascular care emergency services surgery maternity cancer care and diagnostic imaging.
Responsibilities
**Sign-on Bonus Eligibility**
12-hours 3 days/week. Every other weekend off.
Most qualified will be contacted by email.
1. Receives and distributes communication with patients by the telephone, EMR, pneumatic tube system and in written form. Works with Computrition programs to maintain all records, census sheets, nourishment costs and reports on a daily basis. Maintains current and correct diet orders, menus and database for all patients.
2. Maintains good communications between patients, nursing and FNS staff regarding patient records and meal service and menu selection.
3. Participates in departmental Process Improvement programs in the central diet office and develop action plans as needed.
4. Enters Catertrax for the system locations daily and completes any record keeping as required.
5. Monitor the system Temp Trak program. Clear alarm and call operation as needed to be compliant.
6. Calculates eternal feeding orders per policy and procedure.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Computer skills, typing, high level of mathematical /analytical skills. Knowledge of therapeutic diets. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff. Ability to work accurately with details. Ability to work with minimum supervision. |
PREFERRED Qualifications | Associates degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent education Minimum of 2 years institutional food service experience. Call Center environment experience. Serv Safe Certificate. |
