Social Worker LCSW - Rehab Psych Therapy

***Per Diem-some weekend commitment***

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic Physical Rehabilitation Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary staff, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support to individuals undergoing Physical Rehabilitationfor the Center of Rehab Medicine.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand the unique needs and challenges of clients in rehabilitation.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the rehabilitation team.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and social aspects of rehabilitation.
  • Offer support and counseling to clients and their families to facilitate adjustment to life changes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical staff, to ensure integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Masters degree in social Work from an accredited  program.
  • Advanced degree  with field placement or job experience in hospital health, mental health or related setting.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan.  
  • Must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
  • Bilingual Ability (Spanish & English) desirable.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior class.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior class required.
  • Must be California State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Must maintain current Fire Safety cards.
