Responsibilities
RN Transition Program - Surgery, Beginning September 16th, 2024.
The Transition RN Fellowship at Northridge Hospital Medical Center prepares and supports experienced nurses as they enter into a specialty unit.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience to be eligible for this program.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing required.
Completion of an approved Basic Arrhythmia course prior to the start of the transition program (unless otherwise agreed upon by Unit Director and Education department to complete during the program) or
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
Registered Nurse with current CA License and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider card required.
Successful completion of a formal Dignity Health interview process; the overall scoring of the interview consensus will be taken into consideration in determining the selection of candidate(s).
- Current AHA BLS card required.
- LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.
- Current employees: Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions within the past twelve(12) months and with at least a Meets standards on the last 2 perfomance evaluations.This position is represented by SEIU L121RN and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement
