Radiology Tech - Diagnostice Radiology

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiology Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality of patient images while maintaining safety standards. This position involves working closely with physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals.


Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the imaging department.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital and radiology department required.
  • Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
  • CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
  • ARRT (CT).
  • Must maintain Fire Safety card.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
