We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Tech II to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position involves performing a variety of imaging procedures and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures (X-rays, MRIs) as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols and quality standards
- Position patients and adjust equipment settings to obtain optimal images
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a hospital and radiology department required.
- Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA approved school.
- Cross - training in MRI Nuclear Medicine required.
- License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification.
- Certification in MRI modality required.
- Must maintain Fire Safety card.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
