Responsibilities
CHI Minot Medical Plaza is looking for a Full Time LPN to join the team!
Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Clinic Nurse (LPN) assesses, plans, implements and evaluates individual patient care in the clinic according to policies and procedures. The clinic nurse assists physicians in clinical duties to ensure patients and families receive the highest quality care and knowledge promoting patient wellness. The clinic nurse maintains standards of the State Nurse Practice Act.
What You'll Do:
- Utilizes the nursing process to assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan of care for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes.
- Meets the educational needs of coworkers and patient/family utilizing principals of teaching/learning.
- Delegates nursing care based on knowledge of staff qualifications/competency and patient care requirements.
- Successfully completed the defined job specific competencies, including competency for age specific, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a school of nursing.
Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate
Nurse (G.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid. Licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate Practical Nurse (G.P.N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.
Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year clinical or hospital experience.
