Responsibilities

St. Elizabeth Home Health in Lawrenceburg, IN Now Hiring PRN Medical Social Worker 

As a Medical Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in establishing care plans in line with the physician's treatment strategy. Your expertise will be the cornerstone of personalized care, ensuring that every patient's unique needs and circumstances are carefully considered.

In times of crisis, you will be the pillar of support for patients and their families, providing much-needed intervention and understanding. Your compassion will make a world of difference in their healing journey.

Our patients' lives are often influenced by a myriad of social, emotional, and economic factors. With your insight, you will help physicians and caregivers understand and address these elements that impact the patient's medical progress.

The impact of care extends beyond the walls of the clinic. You will be instrumental in connecting patients with vital community resources, ensuring they have access to everything they need to thrive.


Qualifications

Qualifications for Impact - Your Journey Continues

  • Master's degree from an accredited school approved by the Council on Social Work Education. 
  • Current licensure to practice in the state you will work
  • One year of social work in a health care setting is preferred/home care experience will be a significant advantage
  • CPR certification
