Responsibilities

Summary

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports the delivery of the Promoting Interoperability, Quality Payment Program and the Inpatient Quality Reporting Program electronic measures compliance, which focuses on the Electronic Health Record and associated applications. 

This Senior Analyst role conducts assessments, provides analysis, creates, acquires, completes and retains documentation to support the assessments, regulatory activities, data submissions and audits.  Monitors program requirements for regulatory requirements, proactively facilitates changes and audit documentation completeness.   Is accountable for key communication, accuracy, timeliness and efficiencies of documentation creation, communications and completeness.

This position will work to ensure continued compliance for the Promoting Interoperability, Inpatient Quality Reporting (electronic clinical quality measures) and Quality Payment Program.  This includes the performance of electronic measures through data development, performance monitoring, data analysis, reporting and presentation, and investigative problem solving. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitors and analyses the performance of measures, associated certified technology, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborates and supports team members, system collaborators and market resources. 
  • Conducts education through formal presentation, and effectively communicates with cross-functional teams. 
  • Provides review of data and measure performance analysis.  Provides expert EHR knowledge on measure mapping, process and workflows investigates and resolves validation issues and ensures databases are updated.  Responsible for accuracy, completeness and timelines. 
  • Accountable for key deliverables as assigned by leadership team members for the successful performance and data submission.
  • Provides expert review and response to customers, internal and external audits. 
  • Participates in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve key job responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3-5 years in a clinical role
  • Clinical licensure; nursing, pharmacy, therapy etc.
  • Minimum five (5) years related to informatics, workflows, regulatory reporting, and Cerner Lighthouse electronic quality measures reports
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience with data management, analysis, investigation and problem solving.
  • Advanced presentation skills.
  • Experience in a large matrixed healthcare delivery system
  • 5-7 years’ experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium
  • Excellent organization skills, effective written and oral communication skills, skilled facilitation management of virtual meetings and teams

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree 
  • Epic Quality Management and Reporting Workbench reporting
  • Epic ClinDoc, Orders, Certification; Regulatory & Quality badges
  • 3-5 years’ experience with electronic quality measures
