Maintenance Tech Operating Engineer
The posted compensation range of $20.71 - $28.48 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Work in the heart of #humankindess at CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson as an Maintenance Operating Engineer. In this position you will perform hands-on maintenance and operation of all major mechanical, electrical, and related equipment in the facility to ensure a safe, comfortable environment within safety and engineering standards in the most efficient manner. This position supports the mission, vision and philosophy of CHI and CHI St. Alexius Health.

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Responsibilities
- Demonstrates excellent customer service performance and displays a positive attitude and behaviors consistent with the CHI Standards of Conduct and Core Values.
- Perform maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.
- Able to be on a "on call" schedule for after hour needs.
- Perform some security duties.
- Computer skills to get work documentation recorded into maintenance system
- Work with building equipment controls.
- Able to work independently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Five (5) years prior experience with HVAC, electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to read blueprints, work with others. Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders.
- Ability to identify color, use shop tools (pulley puller, pipe wrench, screwdriver, am probe, etc.)
- Must have basic computer skills.
