Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
Joining our team of experienced pelvic floor therapists, you will be provided mentors, training and continuing educational opportunities to progress in your pelvic floor training.
As our Physical Therapist at St Joseph Health now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll help our patients rebuild or maintain their physical wellbeing following an illness, injury, or issues with aging. Using a full body approach, you will help patients enhance pelvic floor function to keep them functioning at their best level.
You’re always ready for the next task. You’ll provide pelvic floor physical therapy treatments including bowel/bladder retraining, neuromuscular reeducation, manual therapy and lifestyle modifications. This environment is fast-paced but full of collaborative and supportive team members willing to offer help, advice, or mentoring at any time.
To thrive as a pelvic floor physical therapist, you must be a team player. You’ll constantly collaborate with physicians, therapists, patients, and their families to seek the best possible treatment outcome. You should be personable, positive, and motivated to provide quality care to a wide variety of patients every day.
We are offering a $10,000 Sign on Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and therapists to develop and execute a treatment plan for each patient
- Perform initial patient evaluations as well as re-evaluations to indicate the level of progress
- Document all treatments and note any status changes
- Tailor treatments to individual patients as needed
Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor Degree; Major in Kinesiology/Exercise Science or other Physical Therapy related field
Required Licensure and Certifications
- Licensed by the State of Texas- Physical Therapist
- American Heart Association BLS
