Located in the Phoenix Ariz. suburb of Chandler the Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 338-bed not-for-profit hospital with more than 2500 employees and almost 1000 doctors on staff representing all major specialties. Chandler Regional joined the Dignity Health system in 1999 but has been part of the community for more than 50 years. The hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center a Heart and Vascular Center a Wound Healing Center a Family Birth Center and many additional services. During the fiscal year ending June 30 2016 Chandler Regional provided more than $48 million in community benefit. As a result of Dignity Health’s mission to deliver health care and partner with the community nearly 100000 people in the East Valley were reached through community health services. Responsibilities

At Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Chandler Arizona.  As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise support and oversight that helps ensure our Surgery patients receive exceptional care.  As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.

The Intensive Care DEPARTMENT at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is a dynamic environment where you can pursue a highly challenging and rewarding career. Our new tower has provided additional ICU rooms with the latest technology providing a wide range of patient surgical/procedural experience.

·Level One Trauma Center

·1:1 or 1:2 Nurse Ratio

·Staffed 24X7 by certified Intensivist

·Shared Governance (house wide and unit based)

·Opportunity for growth & ability to cross train within ICU (Trauma Neuro Surgical Medical CVICU)

·32 Medical / Surgical Beds 17 Trauma Beds 5 CVICU Beds

·State of the Art equipment

·Self-Scheduling


Qualifications

Minimum: 

Arizona State Certified Nurse Assistant license OR Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification

High School Diploma GED or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledgeable in medical terminology

Current American Heart - BLS card

One (1) year acute care experience

Preferred:

Previous experience with a patient care module or personal computer strongly
