The posted compensation range of $80.99 - $80.99 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of a JRCNMT certified program required
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Current CA license certified in Nuclear Medicine
- Knowledge of:
- Anatomy and physiology including cross sectional relationships
- Medical terminology relating to nuclear medicine
- Principles of operation and care of nuclear medicine equipment
- Perform currently accepted diagnostic therapeutic and in-vivo nuclear medicine procedures
- Radiation safety requirements and practices for the operator patient and public
- Mechanical and electrical safety practices and requirements in the patient examination environment -
- Basic and advanced computer applications utilized in the healthcare environment
- Local Sate and Federal laws and regulations.
- Ability to:
- Prepare and use radiopharmaceuticals
- Recognize and respond to allergic reactions and other life-threatening patient conditions
- Effectively and empathetically deal with agitated ill and distressed patients
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and information
- Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with physicians and other healthcare personnel
- Coordinate several assignments and establish work priorities
- Accurately operate and care for Information System computers in the department
- Work independently on-call covering all normal clerical and technical functions
Preferred:
- 2 years Competency in Nuclear Medicine and Venipuncture
- NMTCB or ARRT certification
