Group Fitness Instructor
The posted compensation range of $9.79 - $13.03 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
The group fitness instructor is responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service and cleanliness to wellness members, prospective members and guests. This position will provide assistance to members’ requests along with inquiries about gym operations and policies as well as instruct water aerobics classes as directed by Supervisor or Manager. Responsible for light clerical duties as deemed necessary. Assists as a rehab team member encouraging and promoting health of the wellness members and patients.

Responsibilities

- Member Safety: Assists with workouts, corrects exercise techniques; monitors members and maintains a safe environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensures cleanliness of facility; responsible for disinfecting machines daily and maintaining supplies.
- Clerical Responsibilities: Basic computer proficiency; maintains records, assists with registration, and handles transactions.
- Professional Growth: Attends educational programs, maintains CPR certification.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
Required Licensure and Certifications
- American Heart Association BLS.
