Proxima Scholars: Find your job, start your career
CommonSpirit and Proxima Careers have teamed up to improve local community members' access to healthcare career opportunities. Proxima provides education funding, job readiness training, and navigation services to individuals wanting to get started in healthcare and who could benefit from extra support in getting there.
CommonSpirit works with Proxima to find the right openings for Proxima Scholars and connect them to job interviews. Once the Proxima Scholar is employed, both organizations continue to provide career advancement support on the way to family sustaining wages. This collaboration creates opportunities for community members and supports CommonSpirit's commitment to developing talent in the communities in which they serve.
